Description:		The Yorkshire RFU Clubs Under Seventeens subcommittee exists to promote the development of club rugby players in the Under seventeen?s age group throughout Yorkshire. There are three major platforms through which this development is encouraged: The Under Seventeen?s Yorkshire Cup. A knockout competition for all the Yorkshire Clubs that field under seventeen sides. Subject to eligibility and the published rules. District Competition. Festivals are organized each in which representative sides from the five Yorkshire Districts (North, South, East, West and Central) have an opportunity to play against each other. These matches have two purposes i) To allow players the honour of representing their District in completive games at the standard of many other county matches and ii) As trials to select the full Yorkshire U17s Club representative side. Inter County Competition. The Yorkshire Clubs Under Seventeen's Representative side will play fixtures against the under seventeen's club sides of other counties.
